Beer Can Chicken in an Oven



Here are a few pictures of my beer can chicken cooked in an oven.

A simple dry rub. Anything you like. I just used salt and pepper.

Half a can of beer. Drink the other half. :) With a church key can opener, make two more holes. Then put more spices into the beer.

Place the beer can into the chicken.

350 in the oven, about 30 minutes a pound.

Last 15 minutes of cooking, brush on your favorite BBQ sauce. I mixed some of the beer into the BBQ sauce and brushed it onto the chicken.

Let stand about twenty minutes and then dig in!!!!
